What We Do
We make aluminum pergolas, carports, retractable awnings, greenhouses, and transparent domes. Our products are manufactured in Hangzhou, China — one of the world's largest hubs for aluminum extrusion and outdoor structure engineering. We sell direct to homeowners and businesses in Australia and Europe, cutting out middlemen to deliver commercial-grade products with full transparency.
Our Story
2019 — Started with Awnings
Poly Sunshine Outdoors began in Hangzhou as a specialist manufacturer of retractable awning components. Our founders had spent years in the outdoor shading supply chain and saw the same pattern repeat: factories producing good products, but overseas customers struggling with inconsistent quality, vague specifications, and poor after-sales support.
We decided to fix that — starting with a 5-person engineering team and one awning assembly line. The goal wasn't to be the biggest. It was to be the most reliable.
2020-2022 — Built the Product Range
We expanded from awning parts into complete outdoor structures:
- 2020: Added aluminum pergolas with motorized louver systems
- 2021: Launched polycarbonate carports and garden greenhouses
- 2022: Introduced polytunnel greenhouses and PE parking tents
Each new product line followed the same playbook: source premium materials (6063-T5 aluminum, Bayer polycarbonate, Sauleda fabrics), document every specification, and test every batch before it ships.
2023-Present — Direct to Australia & Europe
We made the decision to sell directly to end customers rather than through layers of importers and distributors. This let us:
